My Cloth Diaper stash

Here is my diaper stash at the moment: AIO, Pockets, Dappi pinless, covers, wipes.

Why??

So I went to my Dr appointment on Friday and all was great.  I took my 1 hour glucose test and saw the OB who said Miabelle was doing great.....atleast as much as she could tell.  I say that because Miabelle was all over the place kicking the doppler and moving around like she was a fish out of water.  My OB just laughed.

However, later I get a call.  I failed my 1 hour glucose test.  They would have liked my numbers to be below 130 and they were 191 instead.  So now I have to take a 3 hour glucose test.  And from what I have heard and read my chances are slim of passing for Gestational Diabetes.....and to top if off IF I do pass it I have to retake the test again September 25...........

I have been so depressed lately and it had made me a very unpleasant person.  But I did talk to my mom for about an hour or so about it and other things and it made me feel better.  I wish I had my mom around me.

So come Wednesday which is Stephanie's 10th birthday I not only have to take a 3 hour glucose test but also get an ultrasound of Miabelle again......please let one or both be good!

Scared and worried

Since Sunday I have noticed a decrease in movement from my little one.  And that says alot since normally I can feel every inch of her moving and constant and strong.  But since Sunday I have not felt a whole lot of anything.

But I also noticed today my stomach looks and feels alot smaller. I can actually see my feet right now. That really cannot be a good sign....or maybe my stomach is just evening out now from where it was pushed completely up.

I am scared. I have an appointment on Friday, and do not want to go before then because there is not much I can do between now and then anyways. I still feel slight little bumps but nothing that couldnt be contributed to gas or intestines.

Normally if I drink juice she gets going or if I sit squatting I can feel her. But nothing. I also have been sleeping on my stomach the last few nights I have noticed and haven't felt her like I normally do.

I am hoping I am just over worried and exaggerating my thoughts anf feelings. Or maybe she got into a different position and I can not feel her. It has me really worried. I have not *felt* her since Sunday night. I have felt things that could be her but not for sure.

I was really stressed this weekend and I hope that had nothing to do with it. I am really scared.

 

Getting Prepared

I feel there is not enough time in the day to do everything I need to do. I have gotten to the point now I spend most of my day cleaning and gathering things or making things and then that is it...not much time for me.

School starts in about a month. Still waiting to see if I am going to get any kind of financial aid and waiting to see if Bryan is going to get any. I called today but no luck finding out anything.

I luckily have already paid for my classes so all I am worried with is my books and stuff. Bryan has nothing paid for and we are waiting to see about his financial aid. However, if he does not know something by September 1st or has put a block on his classes he will lose them and I will have to try to get him into more.....and all he can really take right now are online classes.

Preparing for a new baby, school, and looking for a new job can be tiring. But atleast I only have anywhere from a few days to a few months until all is well for me :)

2nd Wet Bag with Zipper

Lets just say I have done better.

Ok the zipper one did not go so well. But I may try again. First I forgot to sew the inside backwards so all the sewing in inside the wetbag where the diapers go and not inbetween the fabrics. Also the zipper went on really good except the ends heh....maybe another round.

Floor Mat

So I had some material and decided to make a floor mat for Miabelle. It has cotton top and fleece back. Nice huh?

Wet Bags

I just recently made my first wetbag for my cloth diapers. I used print PUL and velcro and I think it came out pretty nice. A few minor sewing issues but I tried....it had been a year since I used my sewing machine.

Cloth Diapering

So I have decided to cloth diaper with this one as well and have begun buying different types of diapers. I feel like this is a new world because 10 years ago when I cloth diapered my oldest all I used were prefolds and covers.

So far I have prefolds, inserts, AIO, and some that need covers.

I will post a pic of them as soon as I get the last bit in and wash them up.

Now to figure out pins or snappi or both or something else.
