Vacation

Well I am off on vacation until Monday the 3oth. I am so excited. It is going to be the whole family minus my husband. Somehow he has turned into a workaholic. Not sure what happened other than those few months he was laid off. I am sad he is not going but I understand. First camping trip for Miss Miabelle and Daddy is not going to be there :( Ah well we will do it again in October for our anniversary....and Daddy WILL be there!

Organic Baby Clothes, Diapers, Nursery and Gear - Franklin Goose Have you heard of them? If you have cruised my site you know I am an affiliate with them. There is a really good reason. I LOVE this store. I mean seriously where can you go to buy cloth diapers, toys, furniture, and bedding all in one place. I mean I have not seen any other place like Franklin Goose.

Now how did I learn about them? Well a few months back they were doing a credit program where you reviewed products you had used and then they gave you $5.00 in credit for every usable review. Yes, I said $5.00 in credit. Let me say I had alot of reviews since I have used almost every product they carry.

Now they carry so much more and I continuously order from them to try new items as well as buy some of my favorites.

Now I am sure if you have heard of them you have heard a mix of reviews. I have to say that I believe that under the circumstances they had they are doing an awesome job. They gave away almost $1 million in credit! I mean seriously, how can you not love a store that does this?

I have made several purchases through them using both store credit and my own funds. Out of all my orders (and I have made about 7 orders) only my most recent order has been delayed. I feel had I used more than just store credit the order may have come faster....but since they are gifts for my baby's birthday and Christmas I am in no horrible rush.

I have had to email them several times and I usually got a response back within a few days. They always work hard to help me out and get the answers I am looking for.

Would I recommend them? Of course. I think everyone should shop there myself.

Silly Ili's tutus & more Review and Giveaway Ends September 5th!

Silly Ili's tutus & more is one of the best places I have found to get tutus. Not to mention the customer service is OUTSTANDING. Kristen will work with you in any way she can to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

I purchased one of the most darling tutus from her during a sale and I have to say I was completely excited once I got it in the mail. There were a few obstacles though along the way.

After purchasing the tutu and paying for it, Kristen sent it out to me. I waited and waited for what seemed like eternity to receive it. However after a few weeks the tutu did not show up. I emailed Kristen to let her know and she worked hard to find out what happened. Sadly she had not got delivery confirmation so there was no way to track the package. She offered to send me out a new one, but I insisted to give it a little more time....and did that pay off.

Three days later I received the GREAT package....but only after the Post Office decided there was not enough shipping. However, I do not feel that was Kristen's error AT ALL.

I told her I finally got the tutu in and what had happened. She offered me a refund of the postage fees but I declined. Not her fault the Post Office did that.

I ran quickly inside and looked at the tutu. It was even more amazing than the picture showed. I put it on my precious little girl...however it is a little big for her. I mean she is tiny and apparently to tiny for it.


She sells so many different items and even some custom one of a kind items like her Tutu Dress (which I will order one eventually!)  There are so many different things that you can buy in her store that it is amazing she has the time to do it all!

Dr Harry - Pediatrics with Passion! Sounds for Silence Review and Giveaway Ends September 2nd!

Dr Harry - Pediatrics with Passion! is a great place to start to obtain information on infants, sleeping patterns, sleeping issues, and all your infant needs. I stumbled upon his Facebook page during a giveaway a few months back...and low and behold I won.

I received a copy of Sounds for Silence Settling Program. I have to say I was a bit skeptical. The reason being I am a mom who has tried everything to calm my baby. I have used classical music, loud noises, quiet and dark rooms, and pacifiers. But I was willing to try one more thing...I mean why not it was free!

Well they shipped it out to me and I received it in about 2 weeks. I loved the packaging it came in. It was very sturdy and in a kit like fashion. Inside was the CD and a Parenting Manual. I read over it fully and completely.

Next was trying the CD out. Wow can I just say this is a great CD. It doesn't always work but it does about 80% of the time. She loves it when I put the CD in just to listen to it. I think she relates it to the calmness she obtains from it.

So how does mommy feel about it? I absolutely love it. Would I recommend it? Without a doubt!

Dr. Harry gave me hope in many instances where my baby would have not been calm. There are sounds that mimic those in the womb and helps to calm the baby. There are lullabies and other soft music that you can chose from. I would have to say my favorite though is Sloshdaboom soundtrack. Wanna know what I am talking about? Then purchase a copy or......

Congrats ladies.

Diarrhea :(

My poor little girl has been having a bit of diarrhea lately.  I think it is due to teething since she shows no signs of being sick or has had any changes in her food or drink.  I have been doing everything I can to keep her hydrated but I think I am losing the battle.  I think I might have to get some Pedialyte for her.  I do not want to go to the Dr. just so they can tell me it is from teething.  If there was a fever or something then I would worry.  It has only been about 48 hours.  If it does not clear up by tomorrow or look like it is getting better then maybe I will take her in.

My Dr. told me one way to know if a baby is dehydrated is from their soft spot.  If they are dehydrated then it will be sunken.  Right now we are fine with that which is why I am not worrying to much.
