On-The-Go Inflatables Disposable Potty Review
I was given the opportunity to review a disposable potty seat from On-The-Go Inflatables. Having a toddler who is potty learning can be very interesting especially when out of the home. Not all toilets are the same and for a newly learning potty learning toddler this can be a very scary thing.
I was able to pick the one I wanted to review. My choices were pink and blue in colors and with and without a character. I picked the pink with no character. I wanted my toddler to learn how to potty on a portable potty chair without a character.
Product Description:
We've designed a disposable inflatable potty seat for today's fast-past family lifestyle. It's an inexpensive, no mess way to bring all the familiarity and comforts of home with them whenever and wherever the family might go. The On-the-GO Inflatable Potty Seat is a safe, sanitary and convenient way to take the stress out of potty training while traveling for you and your toddler. It's soft and comfortable design allows toddlers to become acclimated with the product without doing any harm to themselves. We all know how difficult it can be to train a child once they've been spooked! But that's just one of the many unique benefits the disposable inflatable potty seat has to offer. Here are more unique features about our disposable inflatable potty seat:
- It's soft and comfortable
- Handles for safety
- It's super light weight
- Travel-ready
- Inflates easily/deflates quickly
- Sturdy Construction
- Backrest support
-Inexpensive
-Disposable
How much of this did I agree with? I have to say all of it. The potty seat sits right in the adult seat nicely and the fear of it moving is not really there. My toddler enjoyed sitting in it. It appeared to very comfy to her and she did not rush to get down. She enjoyed the bars on the side to hold onto and looked like she felt stable.
The potty seat was used at 4 different locations and once atleast everyday and it has been very durable. There is not one hole or leak from it. My toddler asks me for it when she wants to go potty. She does not really know anything else but this. Since we decided to begin potty learning using this item it has made the transition much better. Even though we are FAR from being completely potty learned this seat has made things so much easier. I totally need to buy one for all the family and one just to keep in the car!
Now my only downside to it, is that it comes with a ziplock like bag that is used as the reusable baggage system. I don't think that should be broadcasted on the potty seat as I am sure everyone has one at home they can put the potty seat in if they wanted. I was a little disappointed in that.
However, you will find me buying these for my family. And they are reasonably priced. $7.99 for 1 or $17.99 for a 3 pack.
So where do you go to buy these?

Nothing But Soap Review and Giveaway Ends May11th! ~CLOSED~
I was lucky enough to get to sample three different products from Nothing but Soap. Sample sizes of cleaning powder, dishwasher soap, and laundry detergent. I would definitely have to agree that going with homemade is not only greener but cleaner!
With the cleaning powder I tested it by dividing my dirty stove top in half. I cleaned one half with liquid cleaner I usually use and the other half with this powder soap. I sprinkled some around the stove top (maybe a teaspoon sized amount) and then wet a scrub brush and went at it. I spent exactly 60 seconds on each side with the cleaner of choice. Then I allowed 15 seconds to wipe it down. The side I used this powder soap on was sparking! It was clean, easy, and fast! The other side was about 80% clean but was greasy still and needed alot more time of wiping all the dirt up. I would seriously recommend this.
The laundry detergent I went to a laundromat and started two loads. One with the normal liquid soap I use and the other with the powder laundry detergent from Nothing but Soap. After washing for the exact same amount of time and drying the same amount of time, I examined the clothes. I found both to be 'clean' and didn't feel either was lacking. The liquid one I normally use was scented and therefore smelled 'prettier' but honestly I prefer the clean scent I got with the powder better. After having worn the clothes I have not found any type of irritation from any of the clothes from my husband, my 3 year old, or myself.
I 'tested' the dish soap by sprinkling some in a sink filled with water and irritated the water, the same with the other side filled with liquid soap and irritated that water. I put a dirty plate in both sides. I let them soak for 15 minutes and then lifted them up and wiped them down. I was pleasantly surprised to find they both washed just as easily as each other. Same ease really so no complaints there!
I was really impressed with these samples I was given and intend to try out some more products soon :)
Nothing but Soap has offered to giveaway a bag of laundry detergent to one of our followers! For the giveaway laundry soap the winner can choose from unscented, tangerine, or lavender. The bag will do 50-100 loads.

Have you ever had one of these days where you just want to go to sleep regardless as to what is going on?
Dryer Balls from Mudd Monkey Woolie Balls Review and Giveaway Ends April 22nd! ~CLOSED~
I love the concept of wool dryer balls. The ones I was able to try out were great. They were cute colors and seemed a good weight. I tested them out at a laundry mat with a large dryer. I would have to say that a few more are needed to be able to notice a huge change in the amount of time needed to dry. But just having the two alone in the dryer I was able to tell a difference in how soft my clothes were! I never noticed that my clothes weren't soft enough before but loved that I immediately felt my shirt was softer when I put it on the next day. I totally intend to build up my ball stash so I can have a bunch of them to throw in. Especially since I feel these will be great for baby clothes and cloth diapers for sure!
Mudd Monkey Woolie Balls is a brand new company. She started making the wool balls at home for herself when the costs became more than she could bare. Using wool scraps and 100% unprocessed wool she began making them. She has then since added wool yarn and other various wool items. So no matter what wool dryer ball you get they will be 100% made with wool!

Why BabyBond? (from BabyBond)
Breastfeeding is more than bonding and nourishment... it offers a priceless exchange between mother and child. Reflexive, instinctive interaction is quickly shaped into a primitive conversation. The infant makes requests by routing, patting mother's breast, and/or vocalizing, and the mother responds with delicious breastmilk, smile, and loving voice. A pattern of turn taking along with eye contact emerges which is the foundation for successful communication and language development.
As a mother of four and a practicing speech-language pathologist, I was determined to find a way to engage in frequent communication with each of my babies. For me, this meant incorporating breastfeeding into my hectic lifestyle; often nursing on the run. I designed BabyBond as a way for to cover myself while nursing in public without ever covering my baby. Language and behavior are best facilitated in naturalistic context. When nursing with BabyBond, the important interaction between mother and child is never interrupted. Even more, the baby is left uncovered to make observations, interact, and socialize which is what we all do at mealtime.
I am very thankful to all who have and continue to spread the word about BabyBond. Women are all different and it is important we have options when it comes to nursing. Remember... the goal is breastfeeding!
Sincerely,
Missy

Monday Night Dinner Quick Recipe Chicken Casserole
So everyone looks for those quick recipes that will fill them and their families correct? Or even families who dine on a budget. (That is us!) But how many meals are there that are actually yummy, filling, and easy on the pockets? Will I have one for you! It is a chicken casserole. But this is not your mama's casserole.
Ingredients:
1-2 lb(s) chicken skinned and deboned (we prefer breasts but thighs work just as well)
1/2-1 box of ditalini noodles (these are really small noodles)
1 can of cream of asparagus soup (or any cream of soup you like)
1 can of cream of chicken with herbs (or again any that you like)
Small bag of peas (or another vegetable)
Small bag of Parmesan cheese ( actually used the rest of our bottle Parmesan we use in spaghetti)
Milk
Now here are where you can have several variances. I like to slowly fry the chicken in extra virgin olive oil. While that is going I start a pot of water for my noodles. After the noodles are done, I then add the two cans of soup with 2 cans of milk. I stir it until it is smooth and then add the noodles. After the chicken is done, I cut it up and add it with the Parmesan.
I add salt and pepper to taste. And feed my family. This makes between 4-8 servings. Add bread or a salad to finish it off.

Agoo Leggings Review and Giveaway Ends April 13th!! ~CLOSED~
Legwarmers are not on a new concept but there are alot of companies out there who are making it more exciting. One of those companies is Agoo. They not only carry legwarmers but a whole active clothing line for babies, toddlers, and children.
I came across Agoo over a year ago, honestly can't remember how, but I was soon addicted. Over the year, Agoo has had several promotions that have enabled me to purchase items from this Canadian store. They have had $3.00 legwarmer sales to 70% off ALL items.
When Agoo announced that they wanted some bloggers to review their new spring line I jumped on the chance. I was so excited to see what new legwarmers they were going to be coming out with. After I contacted them and found out they would let me review their new spring line I sat and waited to see which ones I would get.
I was really wanting to try out their Girl Power legwarmers. We have found that pinks look really good on our baby girl and she has alot of pink clothes so these would match so many things. I was really pleased and shocked when I opened their package and saw that they had sent me the ones I wanted I so excited!
These were exactly what I wanted and I was so pleased. And I could not wait to put them on her. These like all their other legwarmers are made from Bamboo. Which makes them extremely soft and extremely stretchy. There are some legwarmers we have used which are smaller, but not these. These work better for Toddlers and up but they can be used on infants. If you are like me, you like putting them on their little feet for extra warmth. I also believe these will last longer for full coverage due to their size, length, and capability of stretching.
My baby girl loves wearing her legwarmers. As soon as I put these on she decided she was ready to go! So we took a walk outside on a nice day. However it was just a little chilly. The legwarmers added just enough warmth to not be overbearing. This is another great reason I love the bamboo legwarmers. Even in the summer they will not be overbearing.
We also have tried their famous Tushie Huggers. What are these? They are built in footless tights with a skirt attached (or shorts for boys). You can buy either the shirts, the Tushie Huggers, or you can purchase a whole set. We own two sets of these and would love to own more.

A Conversation with God by Alton Gansky Book Review
A Conversation with God by Alton Gansky is simply is a book where many questions that humans have had since the beginning of time about God and His intentions. The most notable thing about the approach of the book is that it attempts to strip the “Christianese” out of the answers to make the book more approachable for people without a vast knowledge about the Bible to grasp the concepts and answers that Gansky is putting forth. The other refreshing thing is that Gansky doesn’t alienate those with a fairly decent Biblical background with an extensive source of where he got those answers to the questions that were posed. All in all, not only was Gansky successful in his approach to make God seem less ambiguous and far off but he also blended in a nice selection of Biblical heroes of faith to solidify some of the answers to the questions. Because of what Gansky is able to do it is extremely easy to recommend this book to anyone from nearly any walk of life seeking answers from God to questions that most every person has about subjects from the validity of the Bible to abortion.
