Tropic Mind Review and Giveaway Ends 07/20

Tropic Mind is an educational virtual world for kids, where learning becomes an adventure. As a home-schooling mom, I am always excited to check out educational sites. Unfortunately, most websites are more social based, and don't offer the educational content I am looking for. What good is a web site for kids if they can zip through it all in an hour, and come away not learning a thing?

Tropic Mind is different. The social aspect is there, but so are the educational aspects. Each island in the Tropic mind world offers a different subject for kids to learn about. The subjects vary from the circulation system,world history, physics, and even religion. Kids can watch an animation, teaching them about the subject, or play a game. The animations are cute, and keep the kids engaged. Even though Tropic Mind is geared for children 8 and up, my 3 and 5 year old enjoy watching the cartoons with their older brothers.

One thing my kids are enjoying is the pet they adopted. Children adopt a pet, who then lives on their island. They then have to feed, clean, and play with this pet. This is where my boys keep coming back to.

While playing the games, members earn coins that can be spent on items for their island. They can buy toys for their pets, clothing, or decorate to show their personality. My boys are asking every day to play more on Tropic Mind, and are proud of the coins they have earned. The greatest part is, they are remembering what they are learning!
