This year, I am part of the Kinder Moms program, and I am loving it! I don't know who likes it more, me or the kids! We just got an other package from Kinder, right in time for the holidays.
It''s coming up on Christmas, and I'm getting in the spirit. I have already bought all my kids gifts! Now it's about the stockings, and the nieces and nephews. Decorating has got me thinking about how I want to teach my kids about giving. Little P is 9 this year. If he had his way, he would give everything he owned to people. He is very selfless already..... well....most days. He is only 9 after all!
Every year I have my children give a gift to their Sunday School teachers, but this year I think I want them to do more. What and how are the questions.
It's easy when they are young, but as they get older, you have to remember that you are not only raising kids, but moulding adults. What kind of man with Little P grow into? Will he be giving? Will he be supportive? Or will he be selfish, taking, and not giving back to those around him.
This Christmas I am going to start getting my kids to make gifts for their Grandparents to start. I'm thinking of crafts, and I think I have the perfect one! Making ornaments! I found this on Pintrest:
That way the Grandparents will always think of the kids as they decorate every year!
Speaking of giving,
Last month, Kinder gave away 10,000 coupons on their Facebook page. They got snatched up pretty quick. Not a big surprise, milk chocolate, toys, and nut free!
In support of Children's Miracle Network, Kinder is hosting another BIG giveaway on Facebook this season! Starting November 26, Kinder Canada will be giving away 7,500 coupons to enjoy their delicious Kinder Mini Eggs, for free! For 10 days, Kinder will give out 750 coupons at 12:00 PM EST on their Facebook page. This is a great for all of you who missed the giveaway last time ;)
These Mini Eggs are amazing! They have a delicious milky hazelnut centre! They are irresistible....I had planned to use them to fill the kids stockings, but they are so tempting, I don't think we can wait! Please check out Kinder Canada and show your support in this giveaway! If you miss the coupon the first day, keep trying! It will be work it!
