Kay's Country Crafts Review and Giveaway Ends June 5th! ~CLOSED~

I have an addiction to children's hats. I think they are so adorable and you can use them with just about any outfit. During a search I ran across Kay's Country Crafts. She sent me a hat to review and boy did I ever fall in love.

She made the hat around an 18months for my little girl. I wondered if it would fit her because she has such a tiny head. It did! I have to say out of all the hats I have had made this was the first time I had one like this. Normally the hats I get are beanie type hats. This one was a more fitted hat. It also was thicker and stronger (meaning it kept its form). It a great hat. And of course, my daughter loved it!

The craftsmanship of the hat is outstanding. There was not one flaw I could find...and trust me I looked! The hat fit great, it was not scratchy or irritating to the baby, and most of all it was absolutely gorgeous.

Sadly the day I took pictures with her wearing it they came out blurred. So the cute little outfit she had on to match, of course, is not shown. But we are not reviewing the outfit right?

Now I also received a Foofa Yo Gabba Gabba beanie like hat from her...but that will be a different review (since the baby won't get it till her 2nd birthday...in December)!

Kay's Country Crafts has so many things you can get. Hats are just the beginning and you are definitely not limited to one particular kind. She has towel sets, wash clothes.

So I bet you would be interested in winning something of her's for yourself huh? I know I would!!

So listen up! Kay's Country Crafts is offering one of my readers one of her great washcloths. Color choices are green, creme, or yellow.

On top of that...I myself an going to pick a winner to receive $10.00 towards any item one of my readers would like to purchase!

All Terrain Kids Lip Balm Review and Giveaway Ends May 25th! ~CLOSED~

This is a dual review from two of our reviewers!

This is the first time I have ever heard of a chapstick made specifically for children. My son loves to steal mine so I thought this would be a great thing to test out on him. I was given the cherry flavor to try. I don't know if it's just because he hasn't used any in a while or if the color was too red and looked like lipstick to him, but he did not want to use this at all. He kept saying it made him look like a lady! So instead I tested it on myself. Initially I loved it immediately because of the scent. This is the first type of chapstick I've ever tried with a cherry scent (which is my favorite) that did not smell medicinal. It smelled great! Like a natural and fruity type of scent. I was eager to try it out. But unfortunately after only a couple hours of wearing it I noticed my lips, which were previously fine, were now dried out. I tried it again for the next few days, applying often. It never really improved from there. My lips remained dried and chapped from using it and never got better. I switched to a different type of chapstick and immediately the dryness went away. I am unsure of if the formula in it was just meant for kids or if it just didn't work well for my personal lips. But I can say that I keep it near my computer desk now just so I can smell the stuff!

I received this item and was excited to try it out.  This was a child geared lip balm. I received bubble gum flavor.  I opened it and it smelled very good.  It had a strong smell that lingered for a while.  It did not at all break the smell like most do after use.  I decided to use it on both myself as well as the kiddos.  As much as I would like to say that it worked on my kiddos I can not.  I could not get it to apply to the youngest (who is under 2).  I thought though it was an average type of lip balm.  Nothing spectacular.  It was a little on the thick side but I am more accustomed to the silky types (you know like mommy uses).  In all I think it is good for the younger kiddos.

Busy Bottomz Review and Giveaway Ends May 31st! ~CLOSED~

I got the awesome opportunity to review a diaper from Busy Bottoms Cloth Diapers. Since my son is now potty trained I had a lot of fun spending time with my nephew who tested it out. The diaper was a size small which is supposed to fit 10-20 lbs. I was hoping to use it on my new niece but she was way too small for it. I think they only thing negative I could possibly say about this diaper was that it was a little bigger than I think it should have. Other than that, It was amazing. I found it very trim with a great fit overall. It was on a 20lb boy who is known to be a super soaker. The insert was easy to get in and out of this pocket diaper. And I was impressed with how much liquid it absorbed. After using this diaper for over a month it still has not had a leak yet! The snaps started out great and are still very strong after multiple washes. The elastic is perfect and still fits great as well. I was sent an all black diaper and love it. It is extremely cute on this little guy!

Overall, I found this diaper to be exactly what I look for in cloth diapers. The design has recently been changed and having an old style and now trying the new style I think the new one is an improvement on an already great diaper! Tasha, the maker of Busy Bottomz is super nice and wonderful to deal with in every aspect. Her facebook page is great and questions get answered immediately, the same as her etsy page as well. She constantly has great deals going on. The customer service can't be beat here!

Tasha has offered one of our readers a 50% code to be used on any 1 diaper, sized S, M, or L.
