Eco Sprout Review and Giveaway Ends October 31!

I am a cloth diapering mama so I am always looking for different detergents I can use on my diapers as well as my home. I recently came across a detergent called Eco Sprout. They were kind enough to give me a few samples to try, and boy did I try them out. I always go through the same steps when trying out a detergent. One reason is because my youngest seems to have very sensitive skin in her private parts were the detergent sits. So we always want to make sure this does not happen with her.

The first step we do is see how strong the detergent is. I always have a stain on my floor that needs cleaning. So I found this stain and I rubbed a little of the detergent in it with a little water. I scrubbed (but not terribly hard) and almost instantly the stain came up. Hmm, so it is strong enough to clean the stain but will my daughter tolerate it?

Next we headed to the laundry and washed a load of clothes for her. I soaked the clothes first. This was for two reasons...to see if there was any buildup in the clothes and to get that detergent nice and into her clothes. Let me tell you Eco Sprout smells wonderful going in! After the laundry was done I folded up her clothes and waited til later when I could put her in some. So for 3 days she wore her Eco Sprout cleaned clothes. No rashes and no worries!

So finally I tried her diapers in some Eco Sprout. I did a nice good soak on the diapers. I was amazed at how brown the water was (without a poopy diaper). I then washed the diapers using my normal routine but added an extra rinse- JUST IN CASE! The diapers went into the dryer and we waited. After a week of her wearing her diapers we had no rashes and no problems.

Eco Sprout is an amazing detergent. It has some awesome scents going into the laundry....but not so much coming out. However, that is ok with me since we don't care if out laundry really smells as long as it smells clean.

Would I buy Eco Sprout for myself, you betcha! It is amazing.
