Jabra Freeway Review

Cell phones have become a way of life. More people seem to have them than those that don't these days. They have gotten smaller and smaller, and more and more fragile over the years. Texting, Facebook updates, phone calls, all can destracting while driving.

Some studies have shown the increased likelihood of an accident to be four times the normal rate when a driver is using a cell phone. In our province, you can receive a nasty ticket for using a cell phone while driving. I have a bluetooth head set, but I can not tell you how many times I have left it at home!

That's why I love the Jabra Freeway.
The Basics

Jabra Freeway is a speaker system bluetooth device that is also a FM transmitter. It easily mounts on your car's sun visor so it's always there when you need it. It can be connected to 2 devices, so there is never a worry about disconnecting your device if you share the vehicle. My husband and I both share a vehicle, so this is handy. When we drive together and a call comes through, there is no need to worry about a ticket! Before we had the Jabra, my husband never thought to grab his bluetooth, and leaving one in the van did no good, he always forgot to pait it until it was too late.

Why You Will Love It:

  • Industry leading rich and crisp sound with 3 speakers and Virtual Surround Sound
  • Conversations are clear with thanks to an acoustically optimized design featuring dual microphones, echo and wind noise cancellation
  • Turns on and off automatically using a built-in motion sensor
  • Uses your voice to make and receive calls completely hands-free
  • Easy to use. Voice guidance talks you through setup, tells you when you are connected and how much battery you have left
  • Tells you who is calling
  • Easy to install. Pair to your phone and place it on your sun visor.
  • Connect it to your car radio with the FM transmitter and listen to your music and calls through your car stereo
  • Stream music, podcasts and hear turn-by-turn directions wirelessly from your phone using A2DP
  • Control your music player using AVRCP remote controls
  • Connect and use 2 mobile devices at the same time
  • Dedicated mute button, on/off switch and large easy to access volume controls
  • Long lasting! Up to 14 hours of talk time and 40 days of standby time

The Jabra Freeway is a life saver for us, quite possibly literally. I can drive my children with out worry being completely hands free.

my husband travels a lot and this would be great for him. I hate how much he has the cell phone to his ear. Thank you for this review
